Greetings!

Welcome to our blogging beginning!

As we begin to record the details of our lives, we thought we should start with the basics...

WHO:
Brent...a man who's learning how to farm... e-i-e-i-o
Melissa... on a non-stop field trip with three little chaperones
Abigail...our sweet American girl
Samuel...our brave Knight
Ethan...our knight in training (pants)

WHAT:
Dwelling in the Details
Our family blog is a spot to record our details... for others to see and for us to remember.

WHEN:
Starting... July 2008
Updated... as often as life (and dial-up) will allow

WHERE:
Currently... a beautiful green pasture in Virginia, USA
Usually... the mountains of Arizona, USA

WHY:
Psalm 102:18 says...
Let this be recorded for future generations, so that a people not yet born will praise the Lord.

That is our prayer for this blog. How great a blessing to share the details with family and friends now and to record it for future generations.

THANKS FOR JOINING US!
We'd love to read a comment to know you stopped by!

Hi Brent, Melissa & Kids!
I left a big long comment the other day, but Brent said it didn't show and I can't see it now so will try again.
So glad to hear all your exciting news. Sounds like your life is a good one. That's great.
I love the photos, esp. the pirate ones and the ones at sunset, but seem to be missing Melissa???
Is nice the girls had a few days together too. Always fun. I like to do things with Robyn whenever I can too.
Les and I got to spend a weekend with Troy recently at Red Lodge which was fun, but missed Megan so we hope to go out there the weekend of the 20th. They are so busy, seldom have a free weekend, but kind of like that around here too.
We are never bored that's for sure.
We have a busy Sept too on the weekends. Work is ok, not crazy busy as usual because of the poor crops, no rain here.
So value your moisture, if you get too much, send it west. Love keeping up with all of you.
Love, Diane & Les (Tanner too)
