Sweet Samuel at Six

Samuel is SIX years old.
Well, he has been since March but its official now that his photos are taken :) Here are six things we cherish about this boy...

1. His joyful smile and great sense of humor fill our days with so much fun. The vivid vocabulary that bubbles out leaves us all amazed.


2. His deep prayers full of faith to a God that he knows and trusts personally. It is amazing how much he can remember and apply from stories in the bible and from history.



3. Those big, blue eyes that melt our hearts and always get compliments. He has a style all his own and definite opinions about what to wear and where to wear it...for all of us.


4. His heart that feels so deeply and loves so sweetly that its beyond words. This sensitive spirit has been obvious since Samuel was a tiny boy. Oh how the world needs a heart like his!


5. An adventurous spirit that leads him over fences, through puddles, behind piles...and always with a stick or sword or rope. 100% boy!

6. Samuel! The sweet kid that has to go without sweets. This running, active boy who sometimes struggles so much to breathe. Our brave son who has had the most ER visits and has handled each trial with peace and strength.

The blessing of knowing him and watching him slowly grow from the baby that he was into the man that he will become is a privilege that we thank God for!
