We attended the Augusta County Fair!
It was fun to experience a small, rural town celebration.
Hands down, the best we had ever seen.
There were 2 calves, 2 pigs, 2 lambs, a few goats, 2 turkeys, baby ducklings, and baby chicks...and you could hold/touch them all!
Samuel found a goat that he really bonded with, Abigail spent alot of time holding the baby ducklings and Ethan discovered
that you can uncurl a pig's tail. Where else can you learn that?!
It was such a joy to see all of the kids running around, so excited to interact with the animals. Okay...adults too :)
BBQ, icecream, loop-de-loop rides, animals...
a great family night in Virginia
