Our kids love the new backyard, and the new front yard, and the new side yard too! Any free moment is spent outside exploring and one of their first discoveries was an old rope hanging from a very large tree. While it was once a traditional wood seated swing, this remnant now has a wildly new purpose...
Childhood: isn't it wonderful
All you need is a running start with a firm grip on the rope, and you can fly!
Even Ethan takes a fast run at it
It makes my heart smile to see them so happy here. As Abigail prayed last night, she thanked God for "letting us live on a farm and all of the freedom we have here". Her parents thank God for the confirmations that we made the right choice for our family.

Kita
I just read Kita's comment and "Miss" and can't help but turn back the clock to say, 1992! I loved your photos and agree with Kita! Thank you both for blogging and encouraging me :)
